Your Mission

  • Liaise with internal clients to compile requirements for sourcing of materials and services

Your Mission

  • Identify, develop and qualify coating methods of field joints to ensure pipelines and appurtenances are prepared on time and within budget
  • Oversee all related testing, documentation, client approval and third party verification, as required for the project
  • Asses feasibility of coating methods in order to develop most productive and cost-effective field joint coating methods
  • Supervise coating services, including but not limited to pre-qualification, performance and technical presentations
  • Identify training needs and obtain client approval to qualify coating personnel for coating methods selected for pipelines and appurtenances
  • Provide technical input and cost estimates for coating methods and consumables, as required for project preparations and production

Your Mission

  • Provide tender input and interface with the Proposals Management Department on bid qualifications, work plans (including production rate estimates), clarifications and budgets;
  • Monitor and report daily progress of production on the vessels and perform analysis against the estimated production rates per pipeline;
  • Identify and support the development of systems which improve production and make sure these meet the requirements of the PPD;
  • Develop and take charge of all project special production activities on the pipelay vessels not belonging to welding, NDT or coating. For instance all activities related to anodes and anode attachments, VIV strakes, spoilers, piggy back blocks, piggy back strapping;
  • Mediate between the PPD disciplines and represent the PPD in internal and external progress meetings and coordinate information and actions within the PPD;
  • Communicate with the Project Control Department and report cost and time impact of changes in seasonal schedule and/or changes in vessel movements;
  • Identify and address potential non-conformant or non-efficient working practices.

Your Mission

  • Act as a primary point of contact for all QC matters relating to the project;
  • Perform contract review for each assigned project;
  • Develop a deep understanding of the QC project specific requirements and advise the Project Manager accordingly;
  • Determine the criteria for inspector qualifications and experience, and select appropriately;
  • Develop and maintain QC project specific deliverables;
  • Provide input for development of project product specifications and standards for items to be procured or subcontracted;
  • Review subcontractor and supplier procedures and documents including inspection and test plans and production schedules; monitor QC performance of same;
  • Attend pre-production meetings and procedure qualification tests;
  • Implement QC requirements for materials, welding, coating and NDT as detailed in the applicable inspection and test plans;

  • Verify equipment (including certification, calibration and performance);
  • Maintain and process all project related documents for audit;
  • Audit sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers when applicable, to confirm capability towards QC requirements;
  • Check preparations and inspect work in accordance with inspection and test plans

Your Professional Skills

  • Minimum of BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering supported by some technical training, preferably in the offshore industry;
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ (QC) related experience, preferably in the offshore industry;
  • Experience of working within an ISO 9001 quality management environment;
  • Preferably familiar with industry standard codes such as API, AWS, ASME, BS-EN and DNV;
  • Due to the nature of this position a good understanding and the ability to express oneself in the Dutch language is a requirement.
