Your Mission

  • Act as primary contact for the work package(s) towards the client, authorities and subcontractors
  • Prepare and project manage the work packages in accordance with the project execution plan
  • Co-ordinate all project activities required to successfully deliver the work packages in order to achieve the best performance of the entire organisation
  • Lead a multi-discipline support team to successfully deliver the work packages in co-operation with the project manager and the discipline leads
  • Ensure smooth transition between different project phases and functional handover
  • Ensure outstanding project safety performance
  • Review and approve all project documents and project purchases
  • Support project related internal and external cost reporting
  • Identify and review concessions, variation order requests and changes to the contract and subcontracts
  • Supervise preparation of as-built documentation and input into project close out reports
  • Develop and apply know-how and experience for the purpose of improving customer service and delivering customer satisfaction
  • Promote and support continuous improvement activities within the Project Management Department 

Your Professional Skills

  • BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years offshore installation experience, ideally heavy lift, with several years as installation or field engineer
  • Minimum 3 years in a project engineer/assistant project manager position
  • Good experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Good communicator, building and developing relationship with their counter parts in client organisations and other external parties
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken • Good contractual, negotiation and people management skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Willingness to travel

Your Mission

  • Provide tender input and interface with the Proposals Management Department on bid qualifications, work plans (including production rate estimates), clarifications and budgets;
  • Monitor and report daily progress of production on the vessels and perform analysis against the estimated production rates per pipeline;
  • Identify and support the development of systems which improve production and make sure these meet the requirements of the PPD;
  • Develop and take charge of all project special production activities on the pipelay vessels not belonging to welding, NDT or coating. For instance all activities related to anodes and anode attachments, VIV strakes, spoilers, piggy back blocks, piggy back strapping;
  • Mediate between the PPD disciplines and represent the PPD in internal and external progress meetings and coordinate information and actions within the PPD;
  • Communicate with the Project Control Department and report cost and time impact of changes in seasonal schedule and/or changes in vessel movements;
  • Identify and address potential non-conformant or non-efficient working practices.

Your Professional Skills

  • BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;

  • Define the scope of work, methodologies and progress;
  • Perform detailed calculations and simulations using the appropriate computer software;

  • Ensure the Manager Engineering (or delegate) receives regular status updates on the progress of work;

ROV Support Engineer

About our Client

Your Mission

  • Prevent downtime of the ROV fleet in the widest sense of the word
  • Prepare and test ROVs and related equipment for mobilisations/demobilisations
  • Organise and monitor R&M of ROVs and associated equipment including damage repair, modifications, life extending repairs and certification
  • Monitor the execution and administration of maintenance for all ROV equipment
  • Liaise with ROV crew, Vessel Management Teams and other relevant disciplines
  • Assist with procurement of all necessary ROV equipment, spares and consumables
  • Discuss ROV and subsea tooling requirements/activities with the project teams and Engineering Department
  • Update Project Surveyor and Unit Head ROV on all ROV equipment issues
  • Run ROV workshop and perform workshop repairs, including testing and calibration of equipment
  • Monitor and control ROV and subsea tooling systems stock levels by identifying critical equipment and required spares, ensuring equipment on board vessel(s) is complete
  • Ensure all equipment certification is complete and up-to-date
  • Liaise with the departments and subcontractors (ROV tooling companies) to deliver tooling
  • Provide input for tenders and proposals with details on ROV tooling
  • Prepare and co-ordinate ROV tooling activities, including procedures and FAT and SIT attendance
  • Keep ROV tooling library, tooling matrix and technical manuals up-to-date

Your Professional Skills

  • BSc degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with sufficient knowledge gained through experience in a nautical, naval or air force function
  • FMC Subsea School, Oceaneering or similar training is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the offshore survey industry, preferably with pipeline and/or subsea construction projects
  • Knowledge of production engineering and design with additional knowledge of wellheads, workover system and tie-ins is preferred
  • Experience working with ROVs and all possible tooling packs
  • Offshore tooling support or maintenance experience, preferably in a Tooling Engineer or Tooling Supervisor role
  • Experience with subsea structures like manifolds, x-trees, pipelines etc.
  • Solid experience with electronics, mechanics, hydraulics and high voltage
  • Diagnostic, fault-finding and repair capabilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook, AutoCAD and/or Solidworks

Junior/Senior Installation Engineer

  • Analyse and prepare project specifications for load-in, platform preparations, platform leg cutting, yard preparation, barge transfer and tow, offshore lift and transportation operations
  • Prepare design calculations and reports for all (structural) heavy lift design work within scope, budget and schedule
  • Perform FEED and feasibility studies to identify the best solution for either single lift installation or removal of large (> 5,000t) topsides and jackets
  • Design and calculate rigging and pad eyes for modular lifts of modules, flare stacks and drilling derricks with the 5,000t special purpose crane
  • Design grillage and sea fastening suitable for transfer and load-in of single lifted topsides and jackets up to 48,000t using the purpose build 200m long heavy transportation barge
  • Design of special lifting gear; Spreader bars, internal/external lifting tools
  • Participate in HAZID and HAZOP risk identification sessions prior to the operations
  • Prepare factory acceptance and commissioning test for project equipment
  • Prepare disposal yard and transfer barge for platform transfer and load-in operations
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to define efficient and cost effective solutions
  • Provide support for interface engineering and liaison with 3rd parties and Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS)
  • Liaise with the project team, subcontractors, crew, clients and certification authority
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary engineering team
